Sonka Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

Welcome to Sonka (a service by Zoko Softwares Limited). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Sonka website and mobile application ("Platform"), owned and operated by [Your Company Name] ("Company," "we," "us," "our"). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you may not use the Platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform. By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

3. Account Registration

To access certain features of the Platform, you must register for an account ("Account"). You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activities that occur under your Account. Sonka will send you notifications and/or messages for verification and other uses when deemed necessary by the platform.

4. User Conduct

You agree not to use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could harm the Company, its users, or any third party. Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:

• Violating any applicable laws or regulations.
• Posting or transmitting any content that is infringing, defamatory, or offensive.
• Engaging in fraudulent activities.
• Interfering with the operation of the Platform.

5. Campaigns

Users can create fundraising campaigns ("Sonkas") on the Platform. By creating a Sonka, you agree to provide accurate and truthful information about the purpose of the Sonka, the intended use of the funds, and any other relevant details. Users who have made donations to a Sonka may request for it to be checked for authenticity. In such cases, there will be a need to verify the identity of the Campaign Organizer, without which withdrawal of the funds by the campaign organizer will not be possible and donors will be refunded their money.

6. Donations

Users can make donations ("Donations") to Sonkas. All Donations are voluntary and non-refundable, except as expressly provided in our Refund Policy. By making a Donation, you acknowledge that:

• You are making a voluntary donation to support the specified Sonka.
• You are not receiving any goods or services in return for your Donation.
• Donations are non-refundable, except under specific circumstances outlined in our Refund Policy.

7. Fees

There are no mandatory fees by Sonka to use the application, however, we invite all donors to make a small donation to help Sonka keep running and stay free. Also sonka creators can opt in to a 1% charge on their donations received. Any other charges on donation or disbursement will be what the financial service providers charge for that process.

8. Refund Policy

Our Refund Policy applies to Donations made through the Platform. Refunds are generally not available, except under the following circumstances:

• The Campaign Organizer has misrepresented the purpose of the Campaign or the use of the funds.
• Investigation of the account was requested by the donor.
• The Campaign has been found to be fraudulent after investigation.

To request a refund, please contact our support team at support@sonka.io within 30 days of making your Donation. Include your donation receipt and the reason for your refund request. We will review your request and notify you of the outcome within 14 business days. Approved refunds will be processed within 7 business days of approval.
