The Girls Rise Project 2026 is an initiative by Mother’s Heart Foundation aimed at empowering and equipping 500 girls in upper primary school across four community schools in Lusaka in July 2026. Many girls in underserved communities face challenges that affect their confidence, dignity, school attendance, and personal development. Limited access to sanitary materials, school supplies, and mentorship often prevents them from fully participating in school and preparing for a better future. Through this project, we want to change that story. Girls Rise Project 2026 is designed to provide girls with essential learning materials, sanitary support, life skills knowledge, and motivational empowerment sessions that will help them understand their value, strengthen self-discipline, and build confidence for the future. Our goal is not only to support them materially, but also to inspire them to believe in themselves and their ability to rise above social and economic barriers. Under the theme “Educate Her, Empower Her, Watch Her Rise,” this project seeks to restore hope, dignity, and opportunity to school-going girls who need it most.
